    The Culperer Food Closet offers food and personal care assistance to those experiencing an unforeseen hardship. Families and invividuals recieve 3-4 days of meals, which covers 3 meals a day plus snacks and drinks for every member in the household.

    Emergency Food Network provides foood for 3 days of balanced meals (same day as requested) to individuals and families in Charlottesville and Albemarle county. Over the years, Emergency Food Network has expanded to partner with 15 local nonprofits to provide them with grocery gift cards, food in bulk, and meal support.

    "The nearly 17,000 square-foot building houses a fully equipped warehouse featuring walk-in refrigerators and freezers, and dry storage capacity that can accommodate up to 96,000 pounds of dry, shelf-stable foods. The facility also has numerous classrooms and meeting spaces, plus a computer lab to support programs designed to address the root causes of food insecurity."
